2016 Sunset Jamboree

Great day of ice fishing this year at the Sunset Jamboree held on Reservoir Pond January 30th between 8am and 2pm.  This year 95 adults and 58 kids (15 and younger) registered at the Sunset Bar and Grill to participate.  The kids division logged in 35 fish and the adults 30 in six different fish categories.  Prizes were paid out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each division and winners are listed below. 

The Grand Prize of $100 for the biggest fish was won this year by Kathy Evans. Her Northern Pike came in at 27".  The grand prize money was donated by our host again this year, Tom from the Sunset Bar and Grill.

Due to the very late late ice conditions this year, we were not sure the event would even be able to take place up until a week prior, so we apologize if you didn't see our event posted in time. This is not a fund raising event, but more of a social event and an opportunity to get the kids into some fishing enjoyment.

Kids 15 and under are free and adults paid $5 this year to register.  This fee helps us provide prize money and also every kid gets a prize at the end of the event as well.  Thanks to all those that volunteered again this year to help and to also all those that donated prizes and money.  We hope to see you next year at our event along with "good ice"!!
